Life after democracy

A new use of television

A short book called Life After Democracy has proposed a new use of television, to change the relationship between people and governments. The proposal has been welcomed by political leaders and rebels.

The book describes an opportunity that has emerged from meetings with dictators and rebels, presidents and prime ministers, and the United Nations. These contacts have helped to shape a new way of dealing with profound differences, while preventing extremists from turning more countries into battlegrounds for their beliefs.

Compared with current ideas of democracy, the new alternative is safer to start and more likely to survive.
